Sunday

My time is worth $125/hour what about yours?

I spend around 4-6 hours per month gathering, clipping and organizing coupons. It may seem like a lot, but in reality it is around 1-1.5hrs every Sunday afternoon, that is for clipping, filing and purging coupons in the coupon book. I mentioned printing coupons from websites, that I do when checking my email, something that we all do. I then open a separate tab, and print the coupons while I am surfing the net. Most people spend more time on myspace and facebook than I do printing coupons. Why not do something that will save you money?

I can save in excess of $600/month, making my time worth $100-125/hr. Would you spend 1.5 hrs/week clipping coupons in order to keep $600/month in your pocket? Stop throwing money away! Money that you could use to get out of debt, go towards your kids college fund, contribute to your retirement, or even fund a family trip.

What if you could change your lifestyle, your financial stability, and your credit score with something as simple as a coupon. If you normally spend $400-500 per month on groceries and other household goods, a $200-300 savings should be well received. What if those 4-6 hours clipping coupons could save you $200-300 dollars per month? What would you do with that extra money? Would you pay off your car earlier, what about those pesky student loans? Think of the financial burden that you could lift, just by picking up a paper and a pair of scissors.
