Great Deals, this is how they are made.

Well off I went to Bi-Lo today, I have these great 50cent coupons for Tony's personal pizzas. Since they are on sale this week 10/$10, and the coupon doubles to $1 that makes them FREE.

I picked up 10, just becaues that is what I had room for, well if I rearrange some things lol. This is one of those coupons that I actually ordered additional copies from a clipping service. Why? because I know that the pizzas routinely go on sale and the coupon doubles. Thus making them FREE and I like FREE.

After loading my cart and giving a little giggle at the thought of these being FREE, I move on to the next aisle. I find myself on the dairy aisle, I don't really need anything but it never hurts to look. I don't suggest newbies cruise the aisles until you are comfortable with using coupons, and actually sticking to your shopping list. Anyways, it hits me that I need sour cream, now I normally buy this at ALDI for 99cents. So I know that Bi-Lo is going to have to give me something really good to beat that price. Well low and behold look at what I found.

You guessed it this coupon paired with the store sale will make the sour cream 50cents. Well since I am use to paying 99cents as my rock bottom stock up price. I gladly grabbed two and went on my merry way. I contined on to the baking aisle, and came across some major goodies.

If you are like me, and you love to cook this is a jackpot! Even though I don't have coupons for this brand. A 50% price cut is great and I just can't pass this up!

I don't normally by poptarts, but these were on close out, plus a coupon. I could not resist this deal, the coupon that you see actually doubled and I only paid 9 cents per box. I took home 9 boxes for 81 cents, less that the cost of 1 box on close out.

Let's get back on track, I normally shop with a list, but I was only coming to pick up the FREE pizzas and (2) sets of the meal deal for the week. If you are not familiar with the meal deal, you are missing out. This week it consist of Lasagna, garlic bread, icecream and a 6 pack of Pepsi for $7.99. The great part of this deal is that you can still use coupons. You can only do one meal deal per transaction, so I asked the cashier to do two seperate transactions. I don't know about your family, but one tray of lasagna just doesn't cut it anymore.

Of course this is the second transaction, I added a Gold Peak tea, my absolute favorite tea. Side bar: it's not a new product but this large size is new so I would expect to see a coupon for this in the near future. I also picked up the milk for 68 cents, how? it was close to its sell by date. I have three children that eat cereal every morning, milk never makes it to it's sale by date in my house. Again all the pizzas were FREE. I ultimately had 16 items for $11.34. Not bad if I do say so myself.
